The site currently hosts everything you need to know about our sport in the Sunderland area, we currently play hosts to the Sunderland & District Bowling Association, the Grindon League and the City of Sunderland Indoor Bowling club.

To access each section just click on the SUNDERLAND & DIST tab or the GRINDON LEAGUE or the CITY OF SUNDERLAND buttons above. The site also provides an un-edited version of the BOWLS REPORT that appears in the Sunderland Echo on a Saturday.

The outdoor scene is catered for within the SUNDERLAND & DISTRICT section, a full list of the Association Officials, League Fixtures, League Results, League Tables and Competition Draws for the season can be found within that section. For the historians there is also a comprehensive list of League Records and Competition Honours.

A NEW feature is the option to submit league results, it is easy to do and enables the league secretary to provide the site with a more up to-date league table. There is also the LIVESCORE feature which is worth keeping an eye on during the latter stages of the competiitons.

The CITY OF SUNDERLAND section features archives of the clubs records and a light hearted look back at our final day at Crowtree.. Sadly on 2nd April 2017 the club played its final Inter County game as the sands of time has caught up on team numbers.

The search for a venue will go on for another 12 months and any updates can be found in the Venue Search Update section, there is also a About Us section which gives a brief history of the club.

In an attempt to raise its profile again and after a two year absence the GRINDON LEAGUE make a welcome return to the site.

Clubs can now submit League Results and Tommy Thompson Double Fours results, plus they can
view & print off the the fixture lists and latest league table.

The site is delighted to welcome Silksworth's England international David Bolt on board in a new feature called BOLTY'S BLOG. This will see David give his own take on the current state of the sport and much more, to read it just click on the BOLTY'S BLOG button.
